Description

Premium Ringed Gidgee (Acacia cambagei) Handle Block measuring approximately 28  x 45 x 150 mm.

This is a distinct Australian hardwood that makes an excellent handle material, particularly for knife handles. It has a very attractive dark reddish brown colour and tight figured grain. Its extreme hardness lends to handles that are more durable and less prone to wear and its denseness means it is less likely to soak up moisture, is more stable and allows for a very high level of finish.

Note: This is a natural material that may come with minor defects (added character) and slight fluctuations in size.
