Level up your Edge heat treating game with a Yildiz Torch Kit, suitable for Heat Treating, Soldering and Brazing. With three different Interchangeable heads, you can solder and braze with the 17mm turbo head, heat intricatly with the 22mm small burner head, then switch out to the larger 35mm head and heat treat the edge of your blade. The two heads are also suitable for isolated heating for detailed forging, such as for peening tangs, as well as for “blue backing” or differential tempering. The Yildiz Torch Kit also comes complete with a 2m Hose and Regulator, Handpiece, 60mm long neck, and torch stand.

• 3 burner heads included:
  • 22mm diameter, 14Mj/Hr, suitable for heating smaller areas and detailed forging such as peening tangs or rivets
  • 35mm diameter, 78Mj/Hr, suitable for heating larger areas including heat treating, and “blue backing” or differential tempering
  • 17mm diameter Turbo Burner head with neck, suitable for soldering and brazing
• Burners are adjustable in strength and size with knob located within easy access on handpiece
• 2m high pressure rated hose with a 3/8″ BSP LH thread to attach to end of handpiece
• Interchangeable heads, necks and handles allow for versatility. Fittings and connections seal without the need for thread sealant or tape
• Adjustable regulator outputs between 0-60 PSI, allowing for easy temperature and flow adjustment
• Available in both POL and LCC cylinder connections
  • POL has an internal thread on the cylinder valve and is the common thread connection on bottle larger then 9kg
  • LCC has an external thread on the cylinder valve and is the new style connection that will be replacing the POL connection in a 10-year changeover
  • All new 9kg and 4.5kg cylinders, and exisiting bottles that are retested, now come with the LCC connection as standard on the cylinder valve
  • The existing POL valves on older bottles and burners can still be used. The new LCC valves on cylinders are backwards compatible as they have the POL thread on the inside
