Recommended Heat Treatment
- Coat in ATP-641 Anti Scale Compound.
- Heat and Austenitise at 800?C and hold for 10 minutes.
- Quench in Houghton’s G Medium Quench Oil or a high flash point vegetable oil such as canola or rice bran oil.
- Temper at 175 – 225?C for 2 hours, twice.
Recommended working hardness 56-62HRC.
