Description
The Dragon Fang Handle Broach, developed by ABS Mastersmith Neels van den Berg of Black Dragon Forge, is designed to simply and efficiently remove timber when making hidden tangs or intergal bolsters.
The sawtooth has a blade length of 90mm, is 6mm wide and 1.5mm thick. It is made from L6 carbon tool steel and has serrations on both top and bottom to make it extremely easy to precisely hollow out a handle for a tang. The aggressive design of the teeth make removing material much easier than using a needle file or cut down hacksaw and the handle is made from pine wood which has been flattened on one side to prevent the tool from rolling off a work bench.
