Description

Canvas Micarta Pin Stock in Natural Brown and Black for knife handles. Sold in 300mm lengths.

Micarta is a composite material that consists of layers of canvas, linen, or paper in a matrix of thermoset phenolic resin. It is a tough and strong handle material, and is resistant to heat and solvents. It is heavier than wood and lighter than G10, and can be easily cut, sanded, and drilled. Micarta can be brought to a matt finish, sandblasted for grip or brought to a high polish to show off the weave in the layers of fabric.
