This 1075 4.3mm Hunter Knife Blade Blank is made from tough and versatile 1075 high carbon steel. It can take a high hardness and is easy to heat treat with simple equipment. An excellent starting point for your next hunter knife.
It has been cut to shape by waterjet to ensure it has no heat affected zone, is supplied Annealed (Soft) and can be treated the same as 1084 high carbon steel.
You will need to tidy up the profile, grind the bevels, drill pin holes, heat treat and fit a handle. All part of the fun!
Note: Blank may come with a slight warpage. This can be easily fixed by clamping your blank in a vice and straightening it.
