1045 Round Hammer Blanks

Description

1045 Round Hammer Blanks are an affordable medium carbon steel very similar to 5160 in lots of ways. Each hammer blank contains approximately 0.45% carbon, so they can be easily heat treated with a water quench. Not only is this steel great for hammer heads, but it can also be used for making an assortment of tools, maces, swords, or arm braces. This steel is professional grade and for its ease of use, 1045 makes you feel like a pro metalworker.
