The waterfall plunge platen is a clever device that allows you to plunge cut lines alongside integrally bolstered or contoured spindle work. The idea is that there are no dips or ridges alongside the plunge line, and it can be used in the same manner as traditional plunge platen units.

Description
The Waterfall/Plunge Platen allows makers to get a very controlled radius on their plunge lines or integral bolsters, with the belt running parallel to the blade rather than perpendicular. Having The platen level with the edge of the small wheel to ensure that there are no dips or ridges alongside the plunge lines.
Currently two sizes are available 6 mm wheel & 19 mm wheel.

Solid, durable construction
Durable and corrosion-resistant martensitic stainless steel construction allows the platen to be fitted with a variety of abrasive belts without damage.
