Description
Iron Mountain Pieh Tool Mini Swage is a multi-functional blacking smithing tool for creating unique patterns and shapes. Made from ductile iron by the team at Iron Mountain Forge in the USA.
The bowls on either side allow for forming of semispherical depressions to be easily imprinted. The patterns of the different sized U & V grooves create the ability to incorporate a number of shapes for forging operations.
Dimensions:
4”x 3 1/2” and is 2” thick

I have had one of these for over a year. Using it more and more, it required some cleaning up to smooth the casting but that was expected. I have made some fullers to fit the u shaped grooves so now have top and bottom tools. Made a holder that fits in the anvil hardy hole and another holder for a fly press. It is a perfect size for a fly press. We’ll worth the price.
